Light garnet color. Very interesting nose and palate of red fruits, rose petals, dried herbs, black tea, bergamot and sweet baking spices. Hint of eucalyptus on the long, complex and earthy finish. Smooth tannins. Lively, bright and very well balanced. Nice concentration for a light bodied wine. Excellent! — a month ago
First time with WS in a while. Almost a pogeba. Really liking it so far. Lemon curd, acidity and tension. Excited to try the same in a few years. — 5 months ago
La Combe Verte Vineyard. Herbal and Marionberry notes in the nose with a hint of butter. A panorama of berry flavors - blue, black, rasp - in the mouth. Soft, good acid but needs some time to open. Hint of black licorice on the finish. After an hour, a fine grind of seed tannins emerges while fruit flavors integrate and acid softens. Nice fluid mouthfeel too. More time needed? After three hours, hints of lavender and black currant emerge. Overall, a wine of subtlety with some remaining aging potential. — a month ago
Really impressive on opening. Tastes like a Pinot noir should. Cherries, rose, a bit of fern like hiking in CA redwood grove, there’s some strawberry, some dust, plum skin. Interestingly the aftertaste, maybe 20 seconds later suddenly has a sweetness to it that I really enjoy. Drinking really well now on opening. Grateful to try this. — 3 months ago

Oxidative Savignin perfection. Ripe golden delicious, lemon curd, chantilly cream, hazelnut skin. Delicate, energetic, and elegant. Absolutely gorgeous. — a month ago
