This is a tasty Petite Sirah from Livermore Valley.
Showing cherries, cooked strawberries, light oak, raspberries, spices, earth, peppercorn, chocolates and tobacco.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
I had it before, and this time I gave it 3 hours to open up.
Easy drinking and fruit forward. Interesting and spicy.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
13.9% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Nose has cut fresh cherries, blackberries, dried cherries, prunes, old oak bark, black pepper and cherry concentrate.
Palate has dried cherry, dried blackberry, cloves, cured meats, bitter chocolate, vine bark and subtle/dry tannins.
Best when paired to food, ok alone. Decanted 90m, more time appreciated.
We were looking for an uncomplicated wine tonight to accompany our homemade pizza. A recent bottle purchase, already with 10-years of age, $17 was a good value in my book. — a month ago
