I don’t in general think I like purple wines, & boy is this purple. But if a Cru Beaujo had a love child in Austria, hippie style, this would be it. All sorts of wild blueberries & raspberries, a slight effervescence (?), but some how tamed. Enjoyable. — 2 years ago
Sublime. I’m biased but it is probably the best example of merlot on the central coast. Tiny yield from a small vineyard planted on steep grade. Cherries, dark chocolate and muted green herbal pepper notes. Alleged Petrus clonal material, the result is world class and is hard to outshine domestically. — 3 years ago
