Tried this when visiting Purdue at Wine Cellar Bistro in Lafayette. Brought home their last bottle. Enjoyed whole cooking dinner last night. We’ve really been trying and enjoying more of Southern Italian wines. — 2 years ago

So this is a good story! It’s too hot to go outside for one so I decided to open a wine I haven’t had yet and pair it with some cheese for an afternoon snack. A double Gloucester with onion & chive cheese, a garlic & herb BellaVitano and a soft dill Havarti and of course I love Castelvetrano olives! So… I send this picture to my brother, knowing that he is in France right now and I’m not usually a French wine drinker, and where do you suppose he is? In Alsace!! Needless to say I scored some points with him and am enjoying a new French wine! Thanks Alex!! Oops I forgot, this wine is made up from the Noble grapes of Alsace; Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Muscat. And… the story goes on….while reading a historical fiction about The Women of Chateau Lafayette. — a year ago
