Whew came swimmin’ out this bouquet cause it is rich and enriching, cedar, clove, baking spices, forest floor, the spice of fresh velvet.
Only 16 cases were made and the little wine shop on Jones Street, Jones Street Wine, was nice enough to let me get my hands on one of their last bottles (1 of 5).

Mouthwateringly good. Nice balance of spice and acid to wake up the buds. Little to no bitterness. Punchy fruit punches through. And that wonderful clove essence throughout.
Few wines make me write longer notes, but when I find one that does, I can’t seem to stop talking about them.
Aight time to drink it though… — 4 days ago
Much hyped as one of the best Rose out there. More orange in colour than pink. Pretty much the classic nose and what you would expect. There is a very pleasant salty minerality at the beginning that sadly went away. In the end i think the difference between a good, bad and excellent Rose will always be minimal. I do like a Rose but paying anything over €15 seems like a waste of money — 15 hours ago
Completely shut down and hollow on opening. Thought it was an off bottle. But after a few hours the wine made a comeback to become a perfect southern Rhône with the ‘intense 16 fruits, underbrush, minerality and leather.. This one will hold an improve. — 9 days ago
Intense aromas and flavors of mushroom, tobacco leaf, black tea with just a hint of black cherry fruit. Hints of meat, Forrest Floor and leather. All of the tertiary/savory notes come to the forefront and the fruit stays in the background. Lighter in body. Dark garnet color. — 11 days ago
Nicely structured local red, blend of Merlo, Syrah, Malbec and CS, with some wood aging.
Black berries & mulberries, a fresh flowery note (violets, lavender), dried herbs, a savoury, earthy undertone. Fresh!
On the palate this is balanced with juicy, grippy tannins, good flow, savoury with the fruit adding rather than dominating. Nice mouthfeel, good drinkability, alc held nicely in check (13%).
A proper french food wine! — 9 days ago
