First vintage under the ownership of Le Pin. The nose starts off with abundant of blueberry, blackberry and cassis, and then turns to warm spices, black pepper, graphite, and hint of cigar box. Medium to full elegant body. Bitter sweet long finish.

Wow a treat! Color is a dark beautiful cranberry. On the nose: essence of dark fruit and sweet floral jump from the glass with primary notes of roasted meat, wet forest floral and subtle chocolate mint. Taste: silky smooth and luscious coating the palate with red fruit, cedar, earthy soil, crushed rock and minerals with a medium plus spice dark chocolate finish. Yummy for sure and wonderful way to start off the first Friday of the new year!! — 2 months ago
