1990 vintage. Last tasted 1.29.25 (9.5). Same conditions as then. Reconditioned/Château refurbed bottle with high fill and newish cork (only 20% saturated). That nose tho…H-B fer sure. Opened with a Durand. Not decanted. Tasted after 30 minutes, 1.25 hours and 2.5 hours. Phenomnomenal. Everything. Everything. In its right place. In its right place. A refurbished bottle from Le Château from this vintage in a 750ml format…another decade at this high. For mere mortal bottles, likely half that. 4.17.26. — 8 days ago
On first opening and a short decanting the nose was quite muted. It was still lovely on the palate but obviously needed to breathe a while. Fast forward an hour and this wine came to life with all the dark fruit, vanilla and tertiary notes of a Bordeaux from St Emillion. We enjoyed it with our friends who we are going to France with in a couple of months. This beautiful wine has made us look forward to the trip even more. — 20 days ago
2020 vintage. Heavy floral aromas of plum and cherry on the nose, deep ruby red in color. Full bodied, a slight chew on the initial intake, but still smooth on the finish. Continued to open up, great pairing with steak, phenomenal quality for the price range, $30-$40. — 9 hours ago
2023 vintage. A classic vintage, without the opulence of the 2022, and a bit more body than the 2021. — a month ago
Lacks complexity but its a truly excellent bottle and is singing now. Really good wine that is long lasting in bottle. Classical style. — 13 days ago

2025 vintage (primeur). Looks like it will become one of the best ever. — 11 days ago
