This wine confounds me. It is big in every way. Inky colors, legs like Cyd Charisse, huge dark fruit- cherry, blueberry, blackberry, plum- long oaky finish -but it's still merlot. I suspect this is the ultimate expression of merlot. I've never enjoyed one more. There's a little cab sauv in there but not much. Voluptuous wine worth $50-and I can't spend that much on a wine too often. You should at least experience this one once. — 7 years ago
