Château La Tour-Martillac

Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2000

This a a wonderful Pessac, mid-weight, classic and completely mature. Dark fruit, sweet spicy tobacco, dusty sandalwood, black olives and damp earth. Soft, well integrated tannines, perfect acidity - supportive and refreshing.
Very, very good.

Château Tour de Mirambeau

Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice medium body with medium tannins and acidity. Well balanced with a medium finish. Red fruits - cherry, raspberry as well as a hint of blueberry. A little spice, but softened by a bread aroma and a touch of vanilla, even coconut. Enjoyable to drink. — 6 days ago

Château la Tour de l'Évêque

Vendanges Manuelles Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah Blend 2014

Dark ruby garnet in the glass. Abundant nose of dark leather and dark fruit. Echoed on the medium-bodied palate with white flowers(!) and red currant. Medium acidity and fine, medium plus tannins wrap it all up. A wonderful Provençal expression of the classic Syrah-Cabernet (Sauvignon) blend. That will compliment a wide range of “red wine” foods. It’s just as interesting and complex as Regine Sumiere’s iconic Provence rosè, only taken to red level. Enjoy with medium to hard cheeses, beef, game, root veggies, or even darker fruit with balsamic. Drink now through 2024. — a month ago
