Dark ruby garnet. Inviting nose of red plum and purple fruit. Medium full palate gives red plum, blackberry, red apple peel, and a hint of balsam. Add in medium plus acidity and medium tannins and we have a fantastic dinner wine for all casual to fine “red wine” dining. Medium long, juicy finish. Drink now through 2029. — 3 months ago
On the nose, violet petals, beets, and a little tobacco. On the palate, mint, liquorice, anise, plum, and gorgeous dark fruits. Finish is pleasingly herbaceous, with moderate tannins and a mild refreshing acidity. Very little barrel detectable but still so rich and satisfying. — 5 months ago

Popped and poured; no formal notes. This is straight up in its sweet spot. Slightly funky with loads of brambles, some spiced meat, garrigue and dusty, rocky earth. Big. The tannins build with time. Just a touch hot but only on the finish…which is long and tasty. Drink now. — 14 days ago
