Hazy purple color mixed with brown note. Nose of ample cherry, tobacco leaf / herbs, and anise. Straightforward fragrance of nose. Taste of powerful acidity, solid tannins, black fruit like cherries, herbal notes, dry leaves, a bit bittersweet, and a bit strawberry. Aftertaste of peppery spice, condensed sweetness, and residue of the multiple berries note. I like the pleasant berry flavors this wine gives me. Ready to drink now.
