Château Du Moulin De La Chapelle

Paul Jaboulet Aîné

La Chapelle Hermitage Syrah

I was going through my La Chapelle section today and my eyes got stuck on this 1999 - bottle looked absolutely pristine and I decided it was a perfect age to drink. Cork was in great condition and the wine was powerful and youthful with no signs of oxidation. Could have kept the bottle for a few more years, but it was probably perfect today. All the complex leathery earthy goodness you expect from this wine was there. — 20 days ago

Moulin de Duhart

Pauillac Merlot - Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2021

Blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon & 19% Merlot, aged in new oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe berry fruits and floral and earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry, cherry and blackberry with licorice, tobacco and toasty oak notes. Long rich finish on soft juicy tannins, drinking well and still has room to age. Very Nice! — 2 months ago

Coteaux du Layon Chenin Blanc 2005

Plus moelleux que liquoreux. Des arômes et saveurs de fruits exotiques, ananas, touche de métal. Moyennement sucré, agréable. — 2 months ago

9.4

I did not buy enough of this yesterday. Crushed smooth red fruit that ends with bubble gum. Have always loved the wines that Thibault makes so I am probably biased. — 3 months ago

Château Moulin Saint-Georges

Saint Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2024

Naso intrigante e ricco. Bella consistenza e complessità data da un uso del legno presente ma non invasivo.

Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2005

20 years. Well top vintage and vineyard. What to do you think? Back then already 150$. At its peak! Ridiculously refined. Cardamom plum nose. Tannins fully resolved. My wife says mellow. I hate this term. Faint cherry, Touch crushed marble, hint lime, green tea, …looses fruit and interest after 3 hours. Drink within 60 min gone later ——-!!!!!! — a month ago

Domaine de la Chapelle

Saint-Victor Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Rosé 2022

Another solid vintage of this consistently good Provence Rose’. This vintage’s blend is Grenache (50%), Cinsault (30%) and Syrah (20%). Light pink in color with some lavender highlights. Fruit forward aromas of strawberry, watermelon, red flowers and lemon zest. Same fruity flavors with additional notes of peach, orange, and minerals. Touch of white pepper on the tart finish. Crisp, refreshing and clean with a faint hint of sweetness. Nice balance of acidity and alcohol (12.5%). Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 2 months ago
