Bought at the winery in Cassis. Blend of Syrah and caladoc Can find no info on caladoc but winery told us it is hybrid of Grenache and cinsaut. Brownie batter chocolatey, soft tannins, good acidity. Pairs well with barely cooked ribeye. — 9 years ago

Lovely reminder of our visit to Cassis and Bandol. Deep fruit with apparent but soft tannins. Spicy chocolate, intense color, juicy finish. Nice with a well seasoned steak. Yum!

Drinking Mom, Dad, and Emily on our last night in France. Color is very dark, deep purple red. Nose is red fruit, cherry and dark cherry, plus black fruit on the lighter side. Taste is juicy but quick to dry. Definitely black fruit and spice. Pretty solid! — 10 months ago
