Château Chapelle Labory

Paul Jaboulet Aîné

La Chapelle Hermitage Syrah

Exceptional wine - deep ruby color with a huge bouquet of violet, plum, black pepper, black cherry, licorice, vanilla, clove, prune and dried rose petal. Velvet tannins, the alcohol is well balanced with the fruit and full-bodied texture. Still in its infancy but already delicious, this wine has a stunning future — 8 days ago

Château La Mission Haut-Brion

La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Quite bright medium ruby , ruby pink rim . Quite elegant and reserved , some red cherry, violet , summer fruits , scorched earth , touch of spice . On the palate quite elegant also , summer fruits, blackberry , blackcurrant , red plum . Good balanced acidity , herbal touches on the medium length , saline tinged finish . Quite polished but still grippy tannins . This is showing well , especially with food , but has a relatively long future , from now and over the next 5-10 years. A very successful second wine . — 2 months ago

Château la Gordonne

La Chapelle Tête de Cuvée Côtes de Provence Rosé 2023

Primarily Grenache Provencal Rose’ blend. Light salmon color. Bright aromas and flavors of strawberry, peach, flowers and watermelon. Nice touch of minerality and citrus on the finish. Bright acidity, nice richness and a delicate (almost creamy) texture. So refreshing and easy to drink. Thanks for the bottle, Kase! — 5 months ago

Château Calon-Ségur

Chapelle de Calon Saint - Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend 1995

Calon’s third, but still very classic left bank! Bramble berries, cedar, a hint of graphite. Right in the sweet spot! — 2 days ago

Drinking well. Savory and woody, a touch soft, slightly volatile. Peppery, both green and black. Killer with grass fed steak. Good now, this bottle was rather resolved and lacking structure — 2 months ago

Domaine Trapet Père & Fils

Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2013

Dark rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, plum, top soil and asian spices. Dense and mineral in the mouth, medium bodied, very reserved and only showing its game after a couple of hours. This is a very classy grand cru that is accessible now after decanting but has lots of potential. Top stuff. — 5 months ago
