The best producer in Texas right now - period (and excellent on any stage - read Eric Asimov’s writeup in the NYT). Simple and thoughtful. For a Texas Hill Country porch.
Don’t Forget to Soar is pulpy guava papaya peach nectar. Like a Ceres boxed juice trying to tell you something. — 5 years ago

Delicious Pinot. Definitely got cherry and strawberry, and I could pull out “wet stone” after seeing that in a critic’s review. Did not pick up the thyme. Drinking with Dad, Mom and Meg in Fort Collins! — 2 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
100% Tempranillo, from La Horra, one of the best zones in Ribera del Duero, Ceres is named after the greek goddess of agriculture and fertility, aged for 12 months in French and American oak, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and clean spice. Palate shows flavors of red berry fruits, spice, floral and licorice notes, vivid acidity. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with spice, fruit and earthy character. Nice! — 10 months ago
