Medium Ruby with aromas of blue and black berry fruits and oaky spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry and currants with floral spice cedar notes. Firm chalky tannins, medium+ finish, good balance ending with a fruit and spice character. — 3 months ago
Plenty of crushed oyster shell, hints of lemon oil and yellow orchard fruit on the nose. Nice interplay between creamy palate texture and acidity, intriguing zippy white pepper on mid-palate, pleasantly bitter lemon pith on the finish. Complex #mâcon #bourgogneblanc . — 4 months ago
Wonderful crisp tones for summer evenings. Great with fish, chicken, or with appetizers. — 6 years ago
Very chemical aroma of wet pebbles and a bushel of hay. Dry grasses and herbs on the palate. Tart zingy finish. We drank it with kale and spinach risotto. The tart citrus cut through the rich buttery risotto beautifully which some of us loved but I found too tart. — 3 months ago
Okay nice body. — 4 months ago
Red bell pepper, along with red fruits on the nose. A little thin, dry, and no tannins. Pine needles? Red fruits as well. — 2 months ago
Dark & surprisingly youthful
Creamy, ripe black fruit with a fresh herby bite - garrigue, mint - and a creamy backdrop. Fresh & enticing.
Nicely balanced on the palate with juicy fruit, a savoury tannic edge, fresh acidity. Plus a fresh, uplifting herby finish.
So nice with venison stew!
