This 7 year old Zinfandel from Lodi is still drinking nicely.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with wood, vanilla, chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn, spices, coffee and mocha.
Nice length on the finish with soft tannins.
Spicy and fruit forward.

Blend of 82% Zinfandel, 14% Petite Sirah & 4% Carignane, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and tangy spices. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with black pepper spice and a touch of sweet herbs. Soft tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and some oak. Nice! — 12 days ago
Full of flavor and easy to drink, a bit of spice and hints of leather, dark cherry, and tobacco. Paired wonderfully with duck breast. — 4 days ago
This Zin continues to impress me. Plum, blueberry, fig, black pepper, espresso, and light tobacco. Juicy and smooth on the palate. Round acidity and tannins. Lingering candied and smoky finish.
Paring with burger is as good as it gets. Fantastic value for a single vineyard bottling from St. Helena. — 4 days ago

👃 Dried blackberries, dried blueberries, over-ripe black cherry, crushed dark chocolate | 👅 Black cherry & strawberry syrup reduction, over-ripe nectarine skin, dark chocolate sauce, light tar notes, acidity/tannins persists with a long, round finish. Satisfying.
Cork pulled for slow oxidation, 11H rest at time of notes.
The end of the line for our Annette's stock, starting life in our cellar as a 4-pack back in Nov. 2005 ($22.50), this has been an enjoyable run.
Paired to homemade chocolate lava cake. 🤤 — 11 days ago
Erittäin mehukas ja täyteläinen maku. Hieman maistuu vahvan alkoholin kajo mutta ei haittaa paljoa. Yllättävän maukas. Etenkin lihan kanssa sopisi hyvin.

Popped too young, but I just wanted to open it, dammit. Classic fairly old-school Zin nose, with brambly blackberry, a bit of American oak, and stony gravel. Fairly tight in the mouth. I love the focused fruit, which is not jammy in the least. It’s very dry (which is almost jarring these days of jammy Zins with residual sugar), and it’s got some youthfully drying tannins. Needs, and will be better in, at least 2-3 years, but enjoyable now. — 11 days ago
Deep Ruby, complex, yet delicate with aromas of dark fruits, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plum and cherry with smoky oak, pepper and cacao wrapped in generous acidity. Fine sweet tannins, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, cedar, spice and slight earthy tones. Nice! — 12 days ago
