Very drinkable. Paid about €6 for it at Pingo.Doce — 2 years ago
The first thing that showed up after the color is the alcohol, which became more easy to feel when it was above 14°C; but it's a wine that has high standards for sure. Amazing sweetness and very fruity (more citric). Floral in the smell. Pretty awesome. It paired well with #friulano cheese. Above the average of Dão wines. — 5 years ago
Aged well, nice taste of berries. Paired well with steak. — 2 months ago

Quite sweet on the nose, with ripe cherry & raspberry, a pinch of spice (cloves, black pepper). But it’s also fresh, juicy, quite enticing. After some time in the glass it loses the sweetness and gets a nice savoury, spicy edge.
Medium bodied on the palate with nice presence and character. Beautiful quality of tannins, juicy, polished, velvety. Nicely poised and balanced and with good depth. Red fruit all the way, with a touch of damson plum and a long l, slightly spicy finish. The wood is fully integrated.
This is drinking very nicely indeed and, for the price, is a steal!
