This California red blend from Dave Phinney is always tasty especially when you pair it with rib eye.
Big bold and very fruity. Full bodied with medium minus acidity.
Showing black fruits with lots of chocolate notes.
Nice length on the finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Might be too sweet for some.
I cellard this Non Vintage for a couple of years, and it is drinking nicer now than before.

This is a very tasty Chardonnay from Napa Valley. Elegant and fruity.
Showing lemons, citrus, yellow apples, melons, pears, light tropical fruits, light oak, vanilla, earth and white pepper.
Nice finish with spices.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
A good sipper that I paired with cheeses and crackers.

Smooth and Silky. Not much on the nose, but entry and finish made up for that. Dinner in NYC with B @ catch steak May have seen #28 Curtis Martin NYJ as well. — 3 days ago
Cherry. Almost like a blend between Amarone and barbaresco — 16 days ago
Angelo Gaja’s venture - Ca'Marcanda. Blend of 60% Cab Franc, 30% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, barrel aged for 12 mos. A big, very rich Gaja style wine. Deep red with dark berry fruits and earthy leathery spice notes. On the palate blackberry and black cherry flavors, smooth with integrated herb spice, mint and tobacco, lively acidity. Fine tannins, great balance, long finish ending with mineral spice character. Very nice. Will age well! — a month ago
