Broken Stones Paso Robles Syrah Blend 2020

2020 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 3.5 hours. Ripe nose full of black fruits. Hint of clove. Heavy body. Some tannic presence but still on the "smoother" side of the ledger. Remarkable concentration throughout. 7.27.23. — a year ago

... The perfect combination of a flavor packed Cabernet that is dry without sacrificing any of the enjoyment. Delicious aroma with multi-layered notes on the palette. Definitely something I would enjoy again. — 3 years ago

Reserve CV Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This wine is dark in color. It smells like it has been perfumed, with ripe red berries, plums and cherries on the nose. The fruit is layered over an herbal note, but not anything like bell pepper or peas. It smells like cedar trees. The nose of a Paso Cab always grabs me, and this one does it to the fullest. The palate is simply beautiful. Whenever I start thinking I could get along with ten dollar wines, along comes a wine like this one to show me the folly of that thought. The fruit flavors tend toward the dark side, while sweet oak provides a beautiful lift. The tannins are silky smooth, even upon opening the bottle. The winery says you’d better have some seared lamb to pair with it. — 6 months ago

Spur Ranch Grenache 2019

The elegant side of #grenache - High-toned strawberry + red floral elements on the nose, elegant creamy texture on palate, soft tannins, balanced acidity. Lovely wine from I. Brand & Family Winery. #centralcoastwine — 2 years ago
