Gestalt Block Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2011

This is a well aged and a very interesting Pinot Noir from @brittanvineyards 🍷 A 2011 Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The wine shows aromas of strawberries, plum, cherry and some smoked and vanilla notes.

In the palate you can taste tart red fruit flavors. It is well balanced and it almost has some minerality to it. A recommended bottle!

Basalt Block Pinot Noir 2019

Delectable Wine
9.3

Hauntingly dark, the 2019 Pinot Noir Basalt Block captivates with its dusty violet and lavender tones before giving way to crushed blackberries. This is sleek and racy in style with tart wild berries and saline minerals underscored by a core of tantalizing acidity. It finishes structured, tense and long, leaving a licorice tinge and remnants of red currant. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024)

Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Not Brittan. A very limited bottling of Estate Pinot that was whole cluster fermented. Black fruit with lots of everything. Very Dujac like. Will live for 25 years. One of the very best OR Pinots ever. — 8 years ago

Winderlea Legacy Pinot Noir 2012

2012 Legacy. Made solely from 45 year old own-rooted vines in Dundee by Robert Brittan, this needed an hour open to come around. When it did it had almost ethereal aromas of cherry pie and strawberry plus a hint of spearmint. Nothing like a Cali Pinot. — 9 years ago
