Typical Caymus flavors, blueberry, black cherry with American oak brining the usually vanilla notes. — 4 months ago
Great wine - Caymus used their name on a California blend but pleased with the wine but not quite a genuine Caymus. — 2 days ago
At our second special Caymus dinner on Sky Princess serving this wine. I’ve had lots of Caymus wines over the years. This is in line with the brand, but not what I remember from the wines from the late 70’s. As the price increased, I lost interest. It’s ok, but I feel there are better wines at the price point for the Cabernet Sauvignon. — a month ago
Caymus-Wagoner family signature on this fine wine with Australian grapes and Caymus California wine-making. Blend of Grenache, Shiraz and other grapes of Australia, shipped to U.S. in chilled containers, reportedly maintaining freshness…aged in French Oak, bottled in 2018 - vintage is simply Red Schooner 1. In any event, the process produced a rich, full-bodied, big fruit but balanced wine with managed tannins…many attributes…better than several of Caymus own labeled wines. — 3 months ago
Loved this, pricey but worth it. — a month ago
Nice now. Let it open for a bit but full bodied — 3 months ago
Not sure how to describe this but it is a pretty darn good wine with steak. Not sweet but not bitter. Smooth. — 4 months ago

Excellent red table wine. Full bodied with very forward fruit. Light tannins. Absolutely delicious blackberry and cherry overtones. — 3 days ago
