Quite pale lemon yellow colour . Still quite constant fine perlage . Some candied peel , light meaty notes , touch of nutty , yeasty richness . On the palate this is quite intense and fresh still , quite full bodied , with some citrus peel , roasted nuts . This is drinking perfectly now , quite rich but enough freshness to balance . Stumbled upon this almost by mistake whilst drinking the other Bollinger (La Grande Annee 2015) on a BA F flight. I must admit I don’t think I’ve had a BdN before (plenty of BdBs though). And as a big Pinot Noir fan, I had to try it and was@not disappointed. Loved it, more than the vintage one if I’m honest. Felt it had a bit more structure/depth. Now looking around to see if I can find a bottle (around £98) but it’s pretty limited. — 4 months ago
