Yarra Valley Heathcote Shiraz Viognier Blend 2017

Cherry pie on the nose. Hints of cherry, berries and plums on the fore palate. Smooth, moderate finish of leather. Not as spicy as expected for a Shiraz. (Sirloin tip steak, lobster tails, baked potato, saluted kale w baby Bella mushrooms - last meal with Kendra - Tim) — a day ago

Bright fruit & good acidity. Light but quite nice with pork tenderloin for the price ($17). — 10 months ago

Reserve Yarra Valley Shiraz Viognier 2015

Smells like funky-town. Flavors are great with licorice and berry sauce. Complex. — 3 years ago

Meritage 2017

Fantastic at eight years old! Vibrant dark/red fruit… a touch of thyme and a pinch of rosemary. Michael Shaps built this and you can tell. Fantastic attack (cherry sweetness) and the mid palate is just a tango of balance (slightly stewed fruit and herbs)…
Medium finish but delightful in staying inside the boundaries for what this wine is meant to do

Yarra Valley Shiraz Viognier Blend 2020

Lovely dark purple color, the Shiraz is black pepper and spice, with a quite tannic profile, the Viognier provides some lovely floral notes and acidity, longish finish, should easily improve for 2-4 more years. — 2 months ago
