Still young but evolving. — a year ago
What a difference a year makes!
This Chardonnay is a pleaser- yellow apples, hints of lees, spring blossoms, a light citrus overtone and even some minerality.
Great texture- starts silky on the tongue then crunchiness fills the mouth then recedes just the right amount to leave enduring flavors of lemon, tart wild apples, chamomile, and mineral. — 3 years ago
These always get better with age. The “sharpness” of the fruit and tannins melt away and the wine is so much more harmonious — 7 months ago
Discovered in Sebastopol grocery. Smooth and sweet — 8 months ago
This is delicious! It's fruitier than I usually like, but not too sweet, notes of red fruits, low tannins, medium body, and just overall easy drinking. — a year ago
Balletto Pinot showdown no. 1
Best in the mouth.
Light ruby-garnet. Visually appears to have age beyond it's 4 years to me.
Not a great nose- overripe fruit, some blue notes, oaky spice- maybe has seen new American oak?
Mouth: wow, great full++ mouth feel, a really nice roundness here, unexpected.
