Agree with the one other person that rated this sparkling wine. Go-to affordable sparkling for a good brunch beverage. Slightly nicer than than the average. Drinkable. Nothing special, but not bad for the price. — 6 months ago
A special gift from @Shawn R and his lovely wife; Jeniffer.
The visual presentation is superb. Nose is so different from typical champers. No perceptible oak, yeast or bread - wonderful departure. Palate is consistent. Extra brut, but the dosage is deceptively sweet. Smallest bubbles we’ve ever experienced, combine with rose petals and strawberries. Finishes with vigor, but also very regal. Stunning. A new style of champers for us. — 9 months ago
Solid champagne that gets the job done. Can’t say it’s amazing or special but I appreciated the extra brut crisp clean nature of it — 2 months ago
2017. 9.0-9.1. Quintarelli’s entry-level non-ripasso wine. Explosion of strawberry and cherry fruit but not much backbone or complexity to balance it out. Maybe picks up some tertiary flavors over time but I’d rather pay the extra $30 for Q’s truly special Ca Del Merlo. $50. — 5 months ago
Love this old old vine cuvee. Complex nose of mid season cherry fruit, florals, huge rocky minerals and rock dust, some game, and lovely dust. So good. Smells ethereally complex. Like a Gamay forest. Palate is deep, deep, deep and so pure with incredible freshness and mineral energy that cleanses the palate. So juicy. Terrific, grainy and caressing tannins. This is a terrific Godefroy that has a very long life ahead of it. Really great depth and serious midpalate density. But the freshness and waves of energy on the finish are what make this wine extra special. — 9 months ago
An excellent pairing with a balmy afternoon after a day in the sunshine at the beach 🏖
2019 will be forever extra special to us with the birth of our first son occurring in the same year.
He picked this straight away as “red wine” from “9teen” yeah he’s 18 months old 💪🏼 — 5 months ago
Smells like an 8.7-8.8 and it’s Lodi so I called 9 and for Lodi standards it’s extra special so I’m going with 9.2 — 8 months ago
With niche niche x bistrot Paul Bert covid takeout special. Nose of creek brûlée and raspberry merengue. Still has lively bubbles, underripe strawberry but with like extra sweetness, brioche. Werthers and pop rocks. — 9 months ago
