Red berry nose with notes pepper. Cherry, chocolate, plum and leather on the tongue. Full body, rich ruby color, finishes delightfully tannic. — 2 months ago
Medium ruby garnet, quite thin garnet terracotta rim . Quite rich , with ripe red fruits , some tobacco , warm spiciness , cigar box , ripe cassis , sous bois , after a while touch of coffee. On the palate this also shows good roundness with ripe red and dark fruits, cassis , red plum , grafite , touch of earthiness . Balanced acidity and rounded sweet tannin . Quite juicy with a grafite edged finish . Pretty good length. This is at peak now . For now and over the next 5 -8 years. Quite generous and showy , ripe but balanced, a good showing. — 2 months ago

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 5% Petite Verdot. Quite tight at this point with the concentration and acidity associated with the high altitude cultivation. It has power but not generosity. Cassis, black cherry, stony minerality and well managed oak influences but nothing tertiary yet. Firm on the palate, medium finish. It needs a few more years to relax. — 9 days ago
Deep, elegant Super Tuscan now firmly in its tertiary phase. Nose leans more to leather, tobacco, dried herbs and balsamic notes, with the red cherry and plum fruit clearly in the background. Medium‑plus body and acidity, fine chalky tannins; savoury flavours of dried red fruit, cedar and spice carry through on a long, resolved finish. Showing peak complexity today and unlikely to improve further with cellaring, so firmly in the drink‑now camp. — 4 days ago
Not bad … a little bitter on the finish — 2 months ago

Fruity nose of black currants, black plums, blackberries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, light cola, eucalyptus, chocolates, Indian spices and peppercorn.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak in Napa Valley is already drinking beautifully. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and complex.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable even by itself.
Needed 2 hours to open up properly, so be patient. Well worth the wait. Loved the nose once it opened up.
Tangy and interesting to drink by itself or with food. Paired nicely with my Ox tail.
A tiny production of only 6 barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

This 8 year old Malbec based blend from the house of Cheval Blanc is starting to drink very nicely now. Feels like a Right Bank Bordeaux.
Soft, smooth and elegant. Rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Complex and interesting.
Needed 90 minutes in the decanter to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
