Morro d'Alba Lacrima 2018

Delicious. Such a unique grape. Flower’s galore on the nose. Strawberry, cherry, some black pepper on the tongue. Only 12.5%. Great with light fare, apps, chicken; may even put a chill on it on a hot, summer day! — 3 days ago

Colle Stefano

Verdicchio di Matelica 2020

A little disjointed right now but if the 2019 was an indication, 6 months in bottle should bring this to form — 18 days ago

Really love this naturalistic verdicchio. Great nose, earthy body with just right funk. Delicious. Yes. — 10 days ago

Farnio Rosso Piceno 2018

For the price, this wine rocks. Weekday go-to. Such nice black fruit. Light tannins. Great with tomato. And by itself with antipasto. — 17 days ago

Ix Prandone Marche Red Blend

Vintage 2013 ~ phenomenal cuvée 100 % Merlot from the Marche ~ lovely cherries, plums, liquorice, minerality, multi-layered. Given an hour in the decanter, it expresses a refined and velvety taste. Beautiful. ~ Paired with Angus ribeye — 25 days ago

Stragaio Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi

Stracacio 2014.
frankly I was expecting more complexity and strength on the finish. However a good and interesting Verdicchio. I loved the limestone nouances on the nose. Feeling quite oaky even if apparently it didn’t rest on oak neither on skins. I’d have appreciated a way or the other. This isn’t a Natural, neither a conventional wine.
