Standout of the Grand Tasting at Amisfield for the Central Otago Pinot Noir Celebration. Nose was seductive and perfumed which drew you in and finished you off before you had the chance to escape. Single punch down throughout the entire ferment. Francois Millet waxed poetic. An exemplary collaboration between Otago and Burgundy. — 6 years ago
Clear and clean. Smells of pears and fresh crisp stone fruits but tasted of white melon, honeysuckle, and candied lemon. — 6 months ago
Fruity on the nose. But tart and acidic on the end. Very nice. Good on a long hit day. — 4 years ago
Single plot. Hand pressed with stems on. Coffee and funk on the nose. Incredible. Light and dry. Dark fruit, mocha. Very smooth. — 6 years ago
Heard that a misfiled has this on their restaurant menu now, so brought this out of the cellar. No dosappoinent- the lean wine we purchased 6 years ago has aged fantastically. Dryness gone, this tasted sweetish to 2 of our panel, but had no flaws you'd get from lesser wines. Great drop- and drink now or 2017., no later. — 9 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour with friends while playing pool. The 2022 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of white tree flowers, mangosteen, dragon fruit, green apple, lanolin, and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This is a bright and vibrant expression of Chenin Blanc and I’m here for it. Drink now to enjoy the energy and verve though, I’m sure this would age well too. — 6 months ago

A pleasant surprise! Very nice with aromas of forest floor and black cherry. On the bud, there is sour cherry, figs, and earthy. Smooth with a spice note. — 4 months ago
