Floral, fruity, and just a little dirty, this pretty little wine transports you to the Alps. — 7 days ago

Stone Pine Liqueur of the Alps

Josh M

Wow. Beautiful tawny red. Pure pure pine essence. With that fresh green pine note. The smell of hiking through a pine forest. Not too sweet or syrupy at all, with a fine astringent finish. Very cool. — 2 months ago

What's the ABV on it, if you don't mind me asking.

Enfer D'Arvier Petit Rouge 2015

Deep red color. From the Italian side of the Swiss alps. 100% petit rouge. Caramel aromas. Super fruity beginning, berries but not too sweet. Light tannins.
Real delicious.

Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

This aromatic and robust classic is made by a venerable Tuscan estate with a history that dates back to 1877. First produced in 1927, it pays homage to the Duke of Aosta, who crossed the Alps to taste the wine whose reputation was already well established in the 19th century. — a month ago

Vigneti delle Dolomiti Teroldego 2013

Was surprised to find a bottle of this with a bit of age on it at a supermarket in the Italian alps. Very lively, with lots of brambly fruit and cooler earthy undertones. — 3 months ago

Cantina d'Isera

Trentino Müller-Thurgau 2018

Really tasty white wine. German grape grown in the Italian alps. Very bright and lots of minerality. Beautifully paired with a saffron lobster risotto- it really cut through the richness of the meal. Would love to have again. — 6 months ago

Rózsa Petsovits Syrah

At 12%, and a blend of Austrian St Laurent & Pinot Noir, & Hungarian Syrah, a real unicorn Rose that drinks more like a light Red from the Alps. Absolutely endearing. — 2 months ago

Clos Saint-Joseph Côtes de Provence Syrah Blend 2017

A one of a kind wine. One of the only producers in the Provençal Alps. The blend is 50% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache 10% Cabernet. All of the fruit was lost in the 2017 vintage, so other vignerons throughout Provence provided fruit & this Cuvee Speciale was born. Ripe forest berries & smoke. Wonderfully textured & layered. Pick one up if you find one. — 3 months ago
