A blend of about 40% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella & 5% Sangiovese, deep Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruit and black pepper spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with vanilla, figs and licorice notes, good balance, lively acid with fine chewy tannins. 16 June 2017. At the vineyard, Villa Della Torre. Lunch paired with 4 wines. This is a fabulous Amarone. Dried red fruit on the nose. Smooth and well balanced on the palate. Medium - full bodied. Not too dry, not too fruity. A pleasure to drink. Yum. 👍 — 7 years ago
