State of Brewing hazy IPA.
Rose-colored gold, opaque; melting hexagonal beeswax comb lacing turns levitating knives, woodcut claws and feathers. Orange, tangerine and apricot richness with tropical pineapple and banana leaf. Lime and lemon pith, lemon-lime bottlecap candy, Alka-seltzer, strangely, plantain, and truncated grapefruit. Perhaps lacks the creaminess of the hazy style in an attempt to keep the abv reasonable?

Pale golden yellow color persistent tiny stream of bubbles and appealing spicy quince, earthy, pear, baguette and a hint of honey aromas. On the palate it shows a vibrant acidity, and a soft creamy mousse with golden raspberry, pear, and a hint of tangerine flavors with a nice minerality. The lingering finish brings to mind tangerine Alka Seltzer.

Sizzle-y white top pops up the zing then cleanly unlaces to a ring toss. Start the grinder you reprobate monkey. This has all the unkempt mating-cage malodorousness one could expect from such a surly primate. Sweet smelling as crystalline micturition; apple cider vinegar , whiskey sour, and lemon lozenges. Boilermaker texture, black lime, grilled lemon, lemon-lime sweet tarts, lemon alka seltzer. Overall, a little clunky, a little feral, but the finish is worth the trundle through the funky jungle. The monkey here is still golden, shimmering in a salty sunset. — 5 years ago
