Bodigraben Blaufränkisch.
Elegant and quite powerful. Blackfruit, sweet spice and a mineral, iron streak. Juicy acidity, great balance, good weight. Very nice. — 4 years ago

Mostly cab-merlot blend, a bit green on the nose but with air opened up with typical cabernet nose, plus hint of rose petal. Palate was red fruits, bit tart. — 3 years ago

It’s not a red. It’s not a rose. It’s a rosed? Very drinkable chilled. Sort of smells like strawberry watermelon lemon jello. It sort of taste like cranberry juice with a splash of lemon, watermelon and apple juice (?). There’s some ocean spray salinity and good acidity. It paired well with ground pork sausage and rosemary pasta. I’m not sure what to make of this, but it’s definitely something I can enjoy on a warm or cool day, for no reason. — 2 years ago
