Hailing from Hawkes Bay which is cooler climate than Marlborough it showcases passionfruit, grapefruit, gooseberry across the nose with a well balanced palate adding a layer of minerality though a smooth finish. Not too acidic or angular on palate - particularly if you let it warm up just a bit, fruit turns smoother & more tropical, but still that wall of grapefruit & gooseberry.
