[notes for RB 2019 Gittens Vineyard] Orange wine. Destemmed, 6 months on skin then 6 months aging in emphorae. Ex alnort-robert amphorae. Hazy and orange in color. Pale yellow, excellent clarity. Tactile, fine grain sandpaper like, so perhaps an acquired case for some. A clean nose, lemon and lemon peel flavors with depth, great acidity. A deep dive into the variety; not for the faint of heart. After 90 minutes the skin tannins do mellow so you might decant this. — 2 years ago

Skin contact Slovenian Pinot Grigio. Beautiful light copper/peach color. Aromas and flavors of ripe pear, melon and nectarines. Additional notes of minerals and yeast. Nice creamy texture.
