Fair amount of oak shows first, then the tangy, cool climate Sonoma Coast fruit, nicely balanced dark fruits, rich without heaviness, long, lingering finish, terrific 25-year-old Pinot Noir!!
This wine was named for Dianna’s and Adam’s (first?) son. My recollection is this was either best barrel(s) or a special parcel of Hirsch Vineyard fruit (I recall that Siduri first made a Hirsch PN in 1995, I think?) Does anyone else know whether my recollections above are correct? — 16 days ago

We tried 11 PNs from 2004-2010, made by Loring, AP Vin, Sandler, Siduri, and Brewer-Clifton. This 2009 Loring had the meaty flavors that I love in a great US PN. — 4 months ago

Superb and so quintessentially Santa Rita Hills. Open and welcoming nose of sexy, sultry, oozy cherry sap, dark baking spice, moist loam, and dark florals. Deep and rich flavors hit the palate, but without jamminess or excess sweetness. Turns a bit savory in the clingy finish. Almost no tannins apparent. Just enough acids to propel it forward. The 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley lifts from the glass with a spicy and savory blend of citrus-tinged strawberries and clove. It's softly textured with juicy acidity and crisp wild berry fruits.
