Very smooth and enjoyable. Really enjoying this Merlot. — 5 months ago
1st wine of the new year and had to open something fun. Of course, enjoyed with its classic pairing of chicken wings 😉
1.5 hour decant(minimal fine/cloudy sediment). A stunning dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: brambly red berries, herbaceous, wet forest floor, graphite, floral. Taste: silky, soft, juicy, layered beautiful mouthfeel wine with red plum, dark chocolate, dried herbs, touch of spice and a cedar espresso captivating long finish. YUM! — 2 years ago

Strong up front, Black cherry and bright flavor and balanced finish. Really smooth after decanting and drinking over two hours . On the second day I decanted for two hours and it really opened up and was easy and sweet with a smooth finish. I loved it the second day. One of my favorite wines. — 17 days ago
Lemon gold color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with citrus, sweet floral and complex spice, no MLF. On the palate flavors of ripe melon, pineapple, apricot and honeysuckle notes with lemon zest and biscuit notes, delicate, complex and well balanced, big and full Chardonnay. Long finish, savory, ending with mineral tones and fresh finish. Will age well. Outstanding! While I usually do not decant whites, this one will benefit to breathe a bit! — 2 months ago
1.5 hour decant(decent chunky/fine sediment). A remarkable purplish magenta color. On the nose: very aeromatic notes of black & red berries, truffles, loamy soil, worn leather, tobacco leaf, floral, herbaceous. Taste: soft, elegant, balanced, layered mouthfeel wine with blackberry, dark plum, leather, crushed granite, dried herbs, and a spiced cedar long finish with some dusty tannins. YUM! At the start of its drinking window with 20-30 years to go, so no rush. — 8 months ago

Rocco’s takeout and a nice bottle. Not a bad Saturday night. Bonus that the wife is letting me call the ball after dinner. — 13 days ago
August 28th is National Red Wine day...popped this to celebrate
1 hour decant (decent chunky/fine sediment). A striking inky dark purplish magenta color with some bricking. On the nose: Enticing perfumed notes of red fruit, forest floor, smoked meat, menthol, and mocha. Taste: A velvety, plush wine with dark cherry/plum, currants, dusty earth, white pepper, graphite, and a long lingering dark chocolate espresso finish. YUM! In a great place with time to go. — 2 months ago

Opened and decanted for 2 hours before dinner and then really only opened up and truly hit expectations around the 3rd hour when paired with wagyu strip steaks.
This wine was savory tightly wound and tannic at first. Didn’t show much fruit until after the long decant and then it really changed.
With time, the fruits shown through with great complexity and great balance for the savory elements. — 13 days ago
