2020 vintage. 100 % Riesling from Mosel, Germany. Steep slopes, slate soil and old vines makes great wine. Lime, lemon, grapefruit and delicate white flowers on the nose. White peach, apricot, lime/lemon and a hint of slate and minerals. Juicy mid-palate with refreshing acidity though still off-dry. This wine is 8.5 % alcohol and is a year round favourite especially with prawns marinated in spicy garlic chili sauce on the BBQ. — 19 days ago
Brunch wines, no notes. Paired with brioche french toast, breakfast sausage from a local-to-me 🐖 and bacon from Allen Bros. because that's where the best 🥓 comes from, Chicago.
