At first sip it was quite tannic but it smoothed out in the glass. Brought this one home from Florence Italy. Only made meatloaf but the dark chocolate for dessert was spot on with it — 5 years ago
Just a great bottle of wine. Smooth with a great finish. It's so great I can't even finish this review. I need to start drinking... 2010 vintage — 5 years ago

Had at Bardo April 2019. Dry and delicious. Alex loved it. — 3 years ago
There are wines and then there are experiences that are worth living for. It is to sip this beautiful, nuanced blend of nuts, jam and nectar infused with just the right amount of smoke and tart to keep you leaning forward by the nose and your finger motions on "bottoms up and repeat" until your glass is empty. Good luck on keeping your bottle’s wine level north of the bottom line for any meaningful amount of time. To say buy it by the caskets would be an understatement. Buy the entire winery and build a 20 foot wall around it! Then send the bill to Trump Towers. — 4 years ago
Straight from Venice this was most delicious. A bit dry with lots of bubbles and flavor. Great pairing with our lobster tails and king crab legs. — 8 years ago

Hints of blackberry taste. Cigar smell. Full bodied. Rich in tannins. Pairs well with steak. Drank at Bardo. — 3 years ago
