This bottle was left at my birthday picnic, so we took it home not thinking much of it.
Roses, gummy bears, and strawberries.
Wow, unexpectedly great. Always a wonderful feeling when you’re not expecting anything.
Blood oranges flirt with rose petals, and threesome with grapefruit gummy bears to make a tart, refreshing, savory, and slightly pleasingly astringent autumn wine. — 3 days ago
From mag. This is fantastic and getting better in the glad by the minute. This is about the age roses make sense. A supple and delicate nose with soft cherry, dried rose, wild strawberry. This is softened at the edges, very clear and balanced. Real complexity but subtle and light and long. Delicious, and getting better and better. — 5 days ago
Beautiful as always. Some of the primary fruit notes are fading into the background, minerals becoming more prominent. Still, dominated by red fruit wrapped around a core of mineral and acid, though a bit more austere than the last bottle I tried. Intense acid makes this best with food. — 4 days ago
Awesome! Light and fresh, very low tannins, strawberry and lightly floral — 3 days ago
Deep salmon color with some copper hints. Medium intensity perlage. Displaying a highly expressive bouquet of strawberry and pink grapefruit, along with raspberries and spice. Trace notes of brioche and honey compliment. Luscious cream and a touch of oak.
100% Pinot Meunier and 2.5 grs dosage, this is taut and delightfully dry, as the extra brut would suggest. High acidity and vibrant as all get out. Very crisp and racy, this is a different breed. Expertly balanced, this is full bodied and more than a bit hedonistic.
On the palate, the fruit is remarkably crisp and fresh. The red fruit is effervescent on the tongue and the generous amount of spice balances things out. Rose petal, dried herbs, and mint also make an appearance. Just a spectacular rosé all around. Not for the faint of heart but it’s just right for me. — 12 days ago
I’ve had Enderle & Moll Pinot but, not their Rosé. Bought this after seeing @Severn Goodwin post. I like it. It needs to get some air but, more importantly, it needs to cellar for another year or two.
The color is richer - darker...shows more time in contact with skin.
The nose reveals; bubble gum, juicy & candied; strawberries, black cherries, black raspberries, plum, raspberries & cranberry extract. Red liqueured cola, red licorice, herbal notes, limestone minerals, chalkiness, grey volcanics, candle wax, potpourri with candied florals of; dark, red, purple & blue framed in violets & lavender.
The body rich & full with high viscosity. bubble gum, juicy & candied; strawberries, black cherries, black raspberries, plum, raspberries, pomegranate & cranberry extract. Red liqueured cola, mix of red & black licorice, herbal notes, limestone minerals, chalkiness, grey volcanics, dark, rich soil, candle wax, tree sap with bark shavings, mix of dark & white spice (ginger), potpourri with candied, perfumed, florals of; dark, red, purple & blue framed in violets & lavender. The acidity is a picture perfect Hawaii waterfall. The long, rich, lush, well polished & balanced finish is persistent for minutes while falling onto perfect mid spice.
One of the few German producers & regions I trust with this varietal. Climate change will continue to broaden Germany’s scope of good producers with this varietal. — 12 days ago
We’ve had their N/V Blanc but, haven’t had their Rose in awhile. Quite good.
Mousse is very refined. Great mouthfeel. Blood orange, tangerine, rhubarb notes, poached strawberries, black cherries, watermelon near the rind, white spice, oyster shell, grainy chalk, grey volcanics, saline, dry yeast, baguette crust, mint with pink roses dominate with shades of red roses. The acidity is lively. The finish is, pleasantly rich, elegant, well balanced & polished persistent for minutes falling into minerals & spice. — 6 days ago
