Could have let this one rest longer. Incredible fruit ripeness and depth for a 13.5 ABV. Going on day 2, and this wine is still thick and voluptuous, but the nose is an absolute killer. Plums, Christmas cake, ripe orange peel, cedar, and the list goes on. An unexpected and lovely surprise. Moving from 9.2 to 9.4. — 4 days ago
Another amazing steal of a deal, coloring my review. Smooth cab, robust but light, earthy but not bitter. Textured but no mealy. One of the best cabs I’ve had during the pandemic. — 2 days ago
This merlot is amazing, does kinda drink like a Cab...but holy smokes is it smooth! Could also be the time laid down on this one. Beautiful big red fruit on the nose, even nice earthy notes on the nose. That pucker on the finish to remind you it's a merlot, but dang its delicious! — 11 days ago
Wow!! Broc has done it again!
2015 Carignan - Beautiful deep ruby red color. Nose reminiscent of a super ripe cherry covered in dirt!
On the palate, dry, upbeat, crunchy acidity, bing cherry, cherry cola, turns into a crunchy black fruit/black cherry cola, some spicy notes🤔. Well integrated *medium* tannins, earthy finish.
Went soooo well with pepperoni pizza!

[This is the Alexander Valley Zin]
Nose shows lots of secondary notes, with moist humus, gravel, sandalwood, maple syrup, and ripe blackberry. Intense and surprisingly savory in the mouth, with loads of acidity to boot. Long finish. I wouldn’t age these much longer, but it’s drinking well now. Very nice with a grilled porterhouse. — 15 days ago
2008. Opened for a hour. It has a touch of tannin and very mellow vanilla finish. Fruit is there but is not pronounced. Drank with a filet with a Cabernet sauce. Very much a French style wine with a hint of California finish. Very enjoyable. Drink. — 3 days ago
