Château Minuty

281 Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2020

Powerful Rosé with intense strawberry flavor. One of the best Provençal Roses. Just a great buy, and a superstar at my Central Park picnic. — 2 months ago

Jones von Drehle

Estate Yadkin Valley Petit Manseng 2016

Quite nice - balance + expression = food friendliness :) Ripe pineapple, candied apricot, golden raisin drive this now 5yr old build. The acid has waned but still stands up strong to picnic-style burrito bowls with a refreshing elegance! Only aspect keeping this from a higher evaluation is the lack of varietal acidic verve. Nevertheless, well made! — 2 months ago

Burn Cottage

Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018

I liked this Pinot Noir, which was closer to a Beaujolais than a Burgundy. It has a citrus flavor that gives it a summertime aspect. Perfect chilled at a Summer picnic. Not an elegant dinner wine, but perfect with cheese. — 2 months ago

Upper Bench Estate Winery

Okanagan Valley Pinot Blanc 2020

Upper Bench doesn't do tastings at their place on Mondays so we just got some cheese and wine to go for a breakfast picnic at another winery. This Pinot Blanc has a lemon peel nose... The palate brings more of the lemon, a lot of mineral and dusty herb... The body feels big to me for a Pinot Blanc and so satisfying... Though not a ton of acidity (medium, if that), this was a really nice pairing for the suggested creamy cheese accompaniment, their Okanagan Sun... A really nice way to start the morning on the bench... — 2 months ago
