Wow, the six years since my last btl have really been generous to this wine. Absolutely lovely light-styled PN now. On the nose: perfumed red fruit, loads of stony minerality, soft rose hips, a hint of blood orange..fantastic aromatic complexity and still rather primary. On the palate: excellent density, very nice acidity and weight, with more spicy red fruit and lots of stony notes. Lovely soft spice and very soft tannin on the elegant finish. This is fantastic now, and seems like it will age very gracefully, if this btl is representative. Yum! — 4 days ago
Crisp, refreshing and delicious Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. And very affordable! — a month ago
A lovely clove and raspberry, maybe some stone. Very nice acidity. My third pinot noir from Paul Lato Wines. The best: still "The Prospect". But maybe in three years... — 11 days ago
This may be the best straight Chablis AOC I’ve had. Classic nose has copious amounts of ripe, apply fruit, loads of fresh, homemade brothy notes, and sweet crushed, moist limestone minerality. Packed with flavor and intensely minerally in the mouth. Just round-textured liquid stones. Nice acids for a modern era Chablis. Lip-smackingly intense. What a value. Wish I got more of this. — 18 days ago
Nose has sliced early season cherry, freshly cut hay field, dry chalk, cold raspberries and orange zest.
Palate has dried raspberries, ripe tart cherry, warm sourdough bread, moist limestone and orange peel. A very fun wine, 2020 vintage, the first we've had not a Nouveau!
Pre-birthday dinner for our dear COVID bubble friend; we've only allowed one of our close friends into the house for almost the past year, tonight we're celebrating that he's one year older than me. 😉 — 22 days ago
Best match with steak and roasted tomato, enrich the fruitiness and sweetness. Medium body and easy drink — 9 hours ago
