Total wine res wine very goos with steak — 4 years ago
Enjoyed a single glass at Ambassade de Bourgogne. The 1985 “Les Feusselottes” pours a pale garnet color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of desiccated strawberry, dried res flowers, mushrooms, sous bois, licorice, dried herbs and gentle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin (resolved) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A fully mature Les Feusselottes that is showing its age, but showing well. Drink now. — 6 months ago
Really great tannic res from Armenia - but still balanced. Big though - like I like it.. really great red — 3 years ago
So delightful. Wry approachable , but it has the tannins and bones to age well. Get 2, so you can enjoy one now, and another in 10 years. Worked well with oven-roasted salmon, sautéed spinach and steamed sweet potatoes and a tahini lime butter. A lively Mediterranean hillside in the nose, lots of res currant on the approach, and a little pepper on the finish. It has that fresh Beaujolais personality but with decanting and an hour it shows character and depth. — 5 years ago

Gorgeous fruit with res color and magenta edge — 4 years ago
Held amazingly for its age. Still has a lot of res fruit character. Was great for a short sip fell apart fast. Well past it’s past prime. Delicate and oxidized. Just what the pharmacist ordered. — 5 years ago
I loved this wine. Very bold but very smooth. Very deep res in color. Had for Christmas 2020. It was wonderful. One of the best wines I’ve tasted. — 5 years ago
Heavy hitter here! Lemon Madelines covered in dark caramel, cola, orange zest, aged rum, fine tobacco, vanilla, baked blood of tubers, roasted chestnuts. The palate is aggressive as a sleeping beast caught unawares. An awkward silence, impending clash, metallic taste. Ethiopian coffee-candy, burnt cinnamon roll, honey-maple babies, brown sugar, licorice extract ash, African dream tea, Fernet branca tonic. Lingering dark aftertastes. Heavy and potent as the surprised eyes of the roused beast. Lunge. — 7 years ago
