Stacy brought this and it was NOT oaky so I really liked it as did Stacy. — 7 months ago
Really liked it. Was buttery and oaky with a smooth finish a little lemon in there as well. Served with halibut enjoyed with bri, Sara and Keith — 2 years ago
Austin Hope! 2021 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon!!!!!!!!! Delicious! This amazing wine has a beautiful bouquet that reminds me of a field of fresh lavender and lemongrass! The pallet gives us an amazing black currant, blueberry, coffee bean, as well as some chocolate and Oaky earth-tones. It has a very moderately dry finish. I just went to the winery’s webpage and ordered a case of their different wines. You must check this Hope family winery out. Hopefamilywines.com Excellent!!!!!!!!! — 2 months ago
Less tart and more oaky than the 2021, same flavor but more matured as expected. Slight slight hints of soy in aroma — 8 months ago
Golden hay color. Banana, peach, pineapple, honey, apple, pear on the nose. Rich and buttery on the palate. Lychee, vanilla, cream. Distinct palate, but I prefer a less oaky chard. — 4 months ago
Very crisp& oaky Chardonnay with lots of citrus flavor. — 4 months ago
Straight down the middle solid. No too ripe. Not too oaky. Plenty of acid. Green aople. Big distro. Safe bet for your shrimp cocktail at the steakhouse with the obvious wine list. Thumbs up. — 10 months ago
Dark yellow on color. Definitely mellowed more but oaky. Interesting to try a later vintage. This was ok but may have been a bit too aged. — 3 years ago

The 2020 Clio is a blend of 70% Monastrell and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Zingla Vineyard, which was planted in 1936 in Jumilla. Aged for 22 months in French and American oak barrels, this garnet wine unfolds in the glass with ripe black fruit and dried fruit notes, layered with herbal and oaky nuances and a prominent vanilla tone. Indulgent and bold, the rich palate features a velvety, overwhelming mouthfeel. This is a ripe, concentrated red born under the Mediterranean sun. (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, September 2024)
