Very good and balanced. Better than the last time and would definitely get again. Earthy and good flavor. — 2 days ago
Very nice, rounded and smooth Chardonnay. Not as creamy as the Canadian ones but very smooth and robust. Purchased from Waitrose. — 17 days ago
Not bad for how cheap it is. Not too bitter or dry. Has a bit of a funny taste, maybe vinegary or something. But overall pretty smooth and nice. — a day ago
A robust deep burgundy in the glass with a shallow rim. Blackberries and luscious dark chocolate explode initially on the nose. After plenty of air she opens up and starts to reveal leather, perfume, and a trace of oak. The floral notes last forever and are exquisite.
Ok, so is this a Cab masquerading as a Merlot like so many other Napa Valley Merlots? Thankfully no. Much softer and lush on the tongue. She’s definitely New World in style and character. There’s a nice sweetness here that never gets out of control, it’s just right. Lovely balance and structure. Nice complexity and gorgeous Oak Knoll fruit.
Smooth and round on entry, tart cherry is all over the palate. Cinnamon and smoked oak compliment well. Fresh herbs and violets steal the show. A testament to Oak Knoll and what Napa Valley Merlot can be. Just a delightful wine. — 16 hours ago
Pretty rich and intense for a Merlot. A blueberry explosion with undertones of cocoa, plums, and a hint of vanilla. Delicious now but could benefit from a bit more time in the cellar. — 17 days ago
Great depth. I’m nice and oaky and finishes buttery smooth. — 10 days ago
Aged to perfection. Brimming with cedar and bacon fat aromas, favors of forest floor and smoked meats, dried red apple skin and dashi. Beautiful acidity and a wisp of powdery tannins. Bonny FTW. Oak barrels, classic bold, medium body cab. Notes of cherry and slight hint of oak. Delicious — 16 days ago
