Nice wine, unlikely to improve but should hold for 3-5+ more years. Demonstrating some of the characteristics of this cooler or vintage. — 11 days ago

Such a wonderful wine. Nose is all tobacco, cassis and dark berry fruit. Leather as well. Gorgeous. Very complex and entering secondary levels. Palate is juicy and full of bursting dark berries and cassis. Loads of leather and tobacco and rustic tannin. but they are ripe. Great Medoc and an insane value. Think it was $18. — 2 months ago
Notes of apples, honey, and apricots. It aged beautifully (from 1976). — 3 months ago
Very expressive nose, lush, rich yet with freshness.
Creamy cassis, with a fresh note of eucalyptus and some cedar wood. Ripe, rich yet very elegant, poised & enticing.
On the palate this is as fruit forward as on the nose - cassis & black currant, a hint of black cherry, with just a hint of mocha & full milk chocolate. With fresh acidity and a proper finely grained tannic frame this retains the freshness and juiciness making it a delicious, young Bordeaux. A very nice drop! — a month ago
