Tried it with multiple dishes and it tasted pretty bland until I tried it with fish, lemon garlic and butter. That brought out the flavors of peaches and pears. — 2 months ago
L'Oasis Glasthule, sauvignon blanc from Italy, well very surprised by this excellent SB, Dolomites? Crisp, citrus, hint of gooseberry and the best, and only mother in law likes it! — 5 months ago
The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva Marchese Antinori, all from the Tignanello estate, is packed with black cherry, spice, new leather, licorice and dried flowers. A dollop of Merlot adds plush contours, but this is a pretty pushed style, that works well here. Ideally, though, it would be nice to see more Sangiovese and Tignanello character. Very nice delicate rosé, in many ways similar to Provence classics. Light but distinct notes of golden plum, pineapple, and hints of strawberry on the nose and palate, well balanced with a nice full mouthfeel not too high of alcohol — 4 months ago

See previous. This wine, bought basically blind, delivers as the cliche says… way above it’s price point.
My post Covid mouth still is reductive, but the Sangiovese fruit comes singing through, wood too. Some cocoa on the nose, lots of iron/sanguine on the palate.
Refreshing acidity to boot.
