Nothing but secondary and tertiary notes on the nose. Hoisin sauce, shoe leather, luxardo cherry reduction. On the palate, light and fresh. Lots going on. Still some tannins on the back end. A treat. — 5 months ago
Beautiful, Luxardo cherries, leather tones, herb de Provence, and dark rose pedal. Savory spice and herbal notes. — 8 months ago
Deep and complex with delineated layers of Boysenberries, tart cranberry and Luxardo cherry with hints of sarsaparilla and Darjeeling tea. Rare Auction lot bottling. — 3 months ago
Excellent!
Mis au congélateur et bu glacé tel quel — 3 months ago
Always delicious. Notes of boysenberry, raspberry preserves, old leather, Luxardo cherry, & flint. I prefer when the Prisoner vintages present as smoke-bombs rather than juice-bombs, but I’ll take it either way. — 5 months ago
Day two: drinking well right now.. black cherry kirsch, tar, clove, and olive. Definitely on the plum meets luxardo cherry end of Barolo. Meaty tannin backbone, with orange peel highlights. Not flashy, just super solid. Drink or hold. — 8 months ago

Popped and poured in a cocktail hour setting; no formal notes. That being said, the 2007 Bosconia is quite striking and grabbed my attention even in the midst of social responsibilities. This baby is slightly funky and loaded with Luxardo cherry fruit, olives, dill and damp earth. It starts a touch lean but seems to gain weight the longer that it’s open. So much personality. I don’t get to see Bosconia very often in our market…which is a shame because it’s a lovely, and decidedly different, expression of Rioja from LdH. Drinking well now and should continue to do so past 2027. — 2 months ago
