Nose has peaches, white florals, orange zest, raspberries and chalk dust.
Palate has dehydrated strawberry, faint red grapefruit, green melon, chalky minerals (dry) with some salinity on the finish.
A sub-$15 (might have been less, didn't write the price on the label as I generally do...) winner from Costco; I'm not the least disappointed. — 2 days ago
Provence Rose’ Blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Pale pink color. Aromas and flavors of strawberry, red currant, orange zest, dried flowers. Hint of pepper spice on the finish. Extremely light bodied with very bright acidity. Fresh and lively. Totally thirst quenching. Thanks for sharing, Chris B. — a day ago
This product of Provence delivers as expected from the region. The light pink color gives way to a nose of strawberries and cherries with a hint of lemon peel also showing up. The palate shows all the ripe red fruit, citrus minerality and a damn fine acidity. Salads for sure, but get some oysters for this one. — 19 days ago
Fun & fruity.
A bit more ripe fruit and body than expected in a classic Provence rosé, but I like it. Madame Gavoty blends in a few hours saignee rosé with direct press. Raspberry, strawberry, cherry, garrigue, wet limestone on the nose. Red fruits, orange zest, sour peach candy on the palate. Mineral sneaks back in on the finish. — 3 days ago
Brad and company keep impressing me with this outstanding Rosé from Provence. Elegant pale pink colour. Smells like currents, rose and citrus. Lively and balanced palate with the outstanding minerality and saline that I’ve come to love from this wine. — 8 days ago
My annual bottle of the best rose on earth. Nose starts off a bit funky but the classic Simone sweet berries are apparent (strawberries in particular are there), wet hay, loads of earthy type red flowers as well. After around 10 minutes of air the nose is so good. Funk is gone and it’s just haunting. Smells like a fresh meadow. The strawberry fruit is so vivid. But that palate is just ridiculous. Super complex, super elegant and super concentrated but this is so nimble it’s damn near perfect rose. What a vintage for this wine. Wow! The structure here is remarkable and the wine has quite a bit of tannins which as we all know ensures that this wine ages better than any rose around. But because it is rose, by nature it is approachable when young. Fantastic, layered crescendo of a finish. This is to be enjoyed now or in 5-10 or 15 years.
Wow the nose is a confectionery freak show now. Only open 10+ minutes. — 2 days ago
